market leader set standards, not follow the ones losing! these license controllers are here because Sony is getting paid for them and they don't really care which layout they use because it's the matter of giving options albeit a pricey one. Trust me, If Sony is testing waters, they would be the one to come out with the alternative DS4 with asymmetrical layout but they don't and they won't because that is not something a market leader would do.
what makes you think Sony will change layout next gen? right.your OPINION and PREFERENCE on it being the better configuration and no solid evidence. Sony has been using it before the xbox was even a thing and guess what? they stick with it even 3 gens later. the problems with current DS4 is the built quality, not the layout which is just fine the way it is. nothing more, nothing less!Įvolution you said? are you implying the xbox layout is the better one here? the only ones complaining about the layout is the opposing fanboys trying to impose the idea that theirs is better when in reality it boils down to preferences and like it or not, millions still prefer the symmetrical layout. it just means that it can be plugged in to the PS4 without the need for adapter or anything else.
